The company are currently on a journey to complete a global digital transformation and are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure Infrastructure, Cloud Technology and Security, to drive the transformation to the next stage.

Role and Responsibilities as the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

• Bring in-house specific tasks that are currently outsourced. This may include networking support (WAN / Firewalls / Data Centre / Wi-Fi), security (security audits, reporting and investigation, Cyber Essentials Plus), management of Azure Cloud deployed servers and Microsoft 365 support.
• Designing systems and procedures that align with current best practices to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and security.
• You will maintain documentation for all configuration and procedures including technical diagrams for networks, dataflow and hardware for the whole technology estate.
• Work with the rest of the IT team to document, control and monitor appropriate IT Policies and procedures.
• Design dashboards to report status and progress, automating where possible.

Key Skills needed as the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

• Proven experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Azure
• Networking support (WAN / Firewalls / Data Centre / Wi-Fi)
• Good exposure to Security (security audits, reporting and investigation, Cyber Essentials Plus)
• Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Leadership qualities with experience in small and large teams.
