Role Profile Based in North London, Cast UK’s client is looking to strengthen its senior leadership team with the recruitment of an experienced Country General Manager. In this role you with have the responsibility to impact the success of the business by ensuring each of the warehouses are replenished on time to give the customer excellent service. This role will be responsible for improving process and systems throughout operational purchasing, PO management and fulfilment, materials handling, parts distribution and people management.
Skills & Experience With a recognised logistics management career to date; you will have experience working with a large team in a high pressurised and fast paced environment.
Hands-on experience in distribution centre design and operations
Strong operations leadership skills and track record of handling C-level relationships
Data driven, yet flexible, practical and pragmatic in order to deliver results
Strong team player with well-developed communication skills
Logistics operations experience in stock management, material handling, picking, packing, truck loading, shipping, reverse logistics, cost management and invoicing
Remuneration £90.000 – £120,000
