Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (flexibility depending on experience)

Cancer Research UK’s Therapeutic Discovery Laboratories (CRUK-TDL) is the in-house CRUK drug discovery unit, with a principal focus on establishing and prosecuting biologically-themed multi-project alliances with commercial partners. Based at the Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge, and the London Bioscience Innovation Centre, London, TDL comprises over 80 staff from both industrial and academic backgrounds.
This is an exciting role for a data specialist with a background in data analysis and management and an interest in drug discovery to join our Informatics Team, which supports multiple aspects of the drug-discovery project lifecycle.
Why we need you?
We need a passionate scientist with some data experience who is keen on developing expertise in data, or a data specialist who is excited by the prospect of working in drug discovery. This is a pivotal role, working directly with our scientists to support data management processes across all stages of the drug discovery process, and an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in two exciting areas, data and drug discovery.
You must have either have come from research in the drug discovery space or be a data specialist. If you have come from drug discovery, we will support the development of your data management/analysis skills, if you do not have a background in drug discovery we will provide on the job training where required.
