The team has expertise around deal structures and the Bookings Policy. They also advise on revenue recognition rules, typical legal parameters, pricing and licensing constraints.Responsibilities:Manage complex opportunities through the entire opportunity process. Complex is defined as anything outside of the guidelines provided to the sales organization for revenue recognition, pricing and contract authority.Give guidance on non-standard exceptions that pass through the organization, before final transaction is finalized following documented rules of engagement and playbooks for:Discounts, Subscription Term Length, Payment & Billing Terms, Renewal price increase Cap, Upsell Price Lock, Enterprise License Agreements, Bookings Policy Exceptions, Partner Referrals Fees, and other business terms.Provide and manage “standard deal” parameters and tools that the sales organization can leverage.Serve as the point of contact for contract negotiations and internal deal issue resolution on behalf of the sales organization.Be creative and solutions-oriented. Deal Strategy Managers are empowered to find solutions to non-standard opportunities that still align with business rules.Reduce cycle time of getting an opportunity to closing out the transaction.Actively engage with multiple business units, gathering input to improve the opportunity process.Allow the sales organization to focus on selling, giving them the opportunity to find and close more opportunities.Other ad-hoc projects or assignments as necessaryQualifications:6+ years’ experience with sales, legal, or finance revenue within software or technology (all preferred)Experience with ASC 606 a plusExcellent written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally across all levelsVery high attention to detailAbility to meet tight deadlines and balance competing prioritiesThis position is based in London, UK but is also remote-friendly yourself checking a lot of these boxes but doubting whether you should apply?
