In this key role, you will be responsible for the administrative and business functions within the Department of Radiology. This will involve: developing/maintaining controls and best practices across multiple sections and divisions; monitoring, analyzing, and improving performance and productivity metrics; identifying strategic opportunities for improved efficiency; ensuring proper staffing levels; and identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies through centralized projects and tasks. You will:
· Provide managerial direction for the Department of Radiological Sciences’ Management Services Officers (MSOs) · Facilitate professional development and continuous improvement of MSOs and administrative support teams · Ensure excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care · Provide professional guidance, development, and training opportunities · Serve as administrative support staff liaison for the Department
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with:
· Five or more years of healthcare administrative management experience preferred · Outstanding communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills · Ability to skillfully implement University and personnel policies · Strong math and analytical abilities · Skill in collecting information, reviewing, analyzing and summarizing reports · Knowledge of staff personnel and payroll policies/procedures · Computer proficiency · Skill in creating and maintaining information systems for reporting needs · Ability to work effectively under deadlines and changing priorities · Sound judgment in dealing with sensitive personnel issues · Experience in counseling and mediating personnel conflicts · Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
