The role
The Digital Marketing Officer will develop and optimise Breast Cancer Now’s digital channels. This post will work on both campaigns-based and business as usual acquisition to our website, community Forum and other digital products.
This post is a key part to our strategic approach to digital. Forming part of a digital centre of excellence in the charity, the Digital Marketing Officer will work autonomously and collaboratively with all teams to continuously improve our digital presence. Our online experience must serve and support our audiences and meet our services, fundraising and marketing goals.
The post sits in the Digital and Strategic Insight team and our Fundraising, Communications and Engagement directorate. It will report into the Digital Marketing Manager.
The post-holder will work primarily on our email marketing and online paid advertising for both social media and search engines, with a high level of technical knowledge and experience of relevant platforms. The Digital Marketing Officer will maintain close working relationships across the charity for this work to be effective.
About you
The ideal candidate will have strong experience across digital marketing, digital fundraising, or similar, as well as with email marketing systems to produce engaging emails.
You will have superb attention to detail, excellent communication skills and have a flexible, solution focussed approach to challenges.
Working collaboratively across the organisation will be key as we look to provide high quality digital marketing in order to achieve our organisational goals and campaign successes.

Please note that whilst Breast Cancer Now is following Government guidelines regarding working from home, the expectation is that once restrictions are eased that the post holder will be based within one of our four regional (Cardiff, Glasgow, London or Sheffield) offices for the majority of the time..
