We have an opportunity for an E Grade Nurse to join our Gynaecology Unit based at The London Clinic’s main hospital in Central London, W1G (Close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).
Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independently owned non-profit hospital, with state-of-the-art facilities located on Harley Street. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 234 beds and 10 theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive and day surgery theatres. The Duchess of Devonshire Wing is our award-winning cancer centre, which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and dedicated patient bedrooms

This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week (days, nights and weekends.)
The attractive salary range for this role is £37,938 – £44,205 (inclusive of London Weighting & COLA) and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
To take responsibility for individualised patient care acting as the named nurse, using the Roper Logan and Tierney model and documentation for the department.
To act as a role model and change agent for students and staff members by promoting innovation and high practice standards.
To promote partnership with patients in the care.
To ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records and to be aware of the legal implications of these documents.
To promote safe practice and professional conduct.
To encourage good working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, to ensure the effective care and treatment of patients.

Skills & Experience
NMC Registered general nurse
To have a minimum of 1-year post registration experience in an acute setting
To have previous experience with Gynaecology/Thoracic/HBP Patients
