The CSP is the trade union and educational, professional organisation for the UK’s 59,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.
We have an opportunity for an experienced internal communications specialist to join our team and take the lead on shaping the CSP approach to employee engagement. This is a new role which will give the successful candidate a chance to make a real impact on internal engagement at the CSP.
Working closely with staff at all levels, you will develop plans that proactively and positively engage our employees on a wide range of areas, including the CSP vision and strategy, values and cultural change. This will enable each employee to better understand the role that they play in achieving our vision and bring them on board with cultural change.
Educated to at least degree level, or with equivalent experience, you will have a proven background of working in an employee engagement capacity and providing an exemplary specialist service in a small/medium size organisation. Extensive internal communications experience is essential, along with the ability to build an understanding of a particular audience in order to engage with them in the most effective way.
Occasional travel to other CSP offices in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast may be required, as well as the ability to attend all CSP events, therefore flexibility is a must.
At the CSP our goal is to create a culture which is characterised by innovation, respect, encouragement, passion and teamwork. We all strive for continuous improvement and to be the best at everything we do. We aspire to work in a way that embodies our values of learning, courage, inclusive and integrity. Our shared values are part of our organisational DNA and reflect the expectations we have of ourselves and others. They guide what we do and how we do it to have the greatest impact for our members.
