Under the direct supervision of the Fieldwork Supervisor of UCLA’s Department of Family Medicine and Semel Institute, you will conduct participant recruitment, enrollment retention and assessment for the QUIT-Mobile project. This role will be primarily placed in our collaborating community clinics or via telehealth. You will work in the field to recruit, enroll, and assess participants at 3-month intervals for the duration of the study.
Major job functions include but are not limited to: traveling to assigned clinic sites to identify and engage potential study participants; recruitment, retention, and implementation of assessments using prepared questions; data entry in real-time using mobile phone and web-based systems; participant tracking and follow-up at pre-determined time points and provide enrollment updates to Fieldwork Supervisor and Project Directors.

Bachelor’s level education.
Interest in medicine, nursing, public
health, community health, social work, psychology, sociology, or a related
One year of experience working in research.
Familiar with Los Angeles County.
Access to reliable transportation to travel
to study clinics, as needed.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
