The Finance Accountant role is an exciting and progressive opportunity to work directly with the Financial Controller assisting with external reporting, production of statutory accounts and operational decision support. In addition to adhoc projects to streamline processes across the Finance Team and and wider company.

The Finance Accountant will be joining a dynamic, well established and renowned security services provider, working with over 120 private and public sector organisations. Based out of Central London their operations are extensive and diverse; ranging from a one-person security operation for luxury boutiques to a thousand-strong team working for multi-national organisations.
Description
The Finance Accountant will be responsible for:
Variance analysis and operational decision support for adhoc tasks
Liaising the wider divisions across the business promoting joint working
Liaising with the wider group Finance Departments to carry out the tasks in hand
Production and construction of Service Level Agreements, Contracts and Extension with the help of our legal counsel and Directors
Update and maintain current rates and contracts
Help migrate and build an interactive rates and contracts system
Production of external data requirements for regulatory bodies
Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
Set up and maintain automated data processes
Liaise with internal and external clients to deliver reporting requirements
Assist with the full year and interim audit process
Assist with production of statutory accounts
Assist with VAT and Corporation Tax submission
Monitor review balance sheet accounts and provide feedback to the FP&A Manager and Management Accountants
Help with AP and AR operations and tasks when required
Carry out Adhoc tasks as required by the Financial Controller
Profile
The successful Finance Accountant:
Experience previous Management / Finance accountant role
Experience of working with external Financial auditors
Part Qualified in ACCA/CIMA
Be keen to learn and understand all aspects of our business
Must be intermediate/ advanced Excel skills, eg V Look-ups and Pivot Tables and other
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and be highly motivated to work as part of a team and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
The ability to work calmly under pressure
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
Be analytical and inquisitive
Experience of working on large projects
Business Objects Desktop Intelligence/ time & attendance software experience (desirable)
Services Industry Experience (desirable)
