We’re scaling fast and are a team of over 100. We are about to move into a brand new five-storey office on Baker Street, London, and are looking for a Front Of House Apprentice to be the welcoming face of our brand to clients, guests and apprentices! You will be joining a community of 9 WhiteHat apprentices who are excited to welcome you into the team.
A typical day
The first and last point of contact in person and on the phone
Welcome, support and advise guests – giving them a fantastic first impression of WhiteHat experience and a friendly, helpful, professional welcome to our office
Run the ‘front of house’ operations – Cover the front desk (8.30am – 5.30pm) coordinating and setting up meetings, signing guest in/out and supporting with any operational issues around meeting rooms and ensuring our office is secure
Welcoming apprentices to the WhiteHat Community Hub, acting as a link between WhiteHat and our community of apprentices and helping in the setup of events
Supporting the office manager and other team members with additional administrative tasks
Assist with set-up and breakdown of events, including ordering food and beverages
Mail and Package responsibilities
Escalate issues to the Office Manager and support with resolving
Be a core organising member of the WhiteHat Culture Club, helping create a programme of inclusive social and learning activities
Support with the submission of expenses and receipts to the Finance team
Being responsible for ordering the offices’ stationery
You must have
Five GCSE grades C – A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths
You’re a great fit…
Warm and engaging personality with the ability to build rapport quickly
Incredible attention to detail and diligent in ensuring small details are taken care of
Excellent communicator – smart and articulate in person, over email or on the phone
Previous experience in a receptionist, office management, or customer facing role would be preferable
Conscientiousness, punctuality and trustworthiness are core requirements for this role – we are looking for someone who is mature and approachable and who wants to build a career in a fast growing startup

After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.
