Priory Lodge School are seeking a Head Cook to work within a small team at the school.
This will be to provide refreshments and food for young people aged 9 -19 with mild to moderate Autism and be based in Roehampton, South West London.
You will be required:
Ensures the effective and efficient planning and delivery of all aspects of food preparation and cooking, taking account of dietary and nutritional requirements within the unit
Actively involved in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages as well as supervising the work of catering support staff and ensuring operational standards comply with the company’s ‘Assured Safe Catering policies’ and guidelines and statutory regulations
Ensures that stock ordering and rotation is organised in an efficient and cost-effective manner
Ensure the kitchen environment and facilities are continuously cleaned and maintained in line with all Health & Safety requirements
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly records relating to food handling and safety requirements, detailed cleaning schedules and statutory temperature checks
