Here we have an exciting HR Business partner role to partner with the main office enabling functions department, within a multi national transport organisation. The current incumbent is moving on so this is a role that pre exists and has existing frameworks in place, not to say that this is BAU by any means! The organisation has recently been through a restructure and ongoing Organisational Design, Talent Management and experience in Change Management within HR, very much on the agenda.
Key elements to this role:
Ensuring that strategic change programmes such as Organisation Design, Target Operating Model and Ways of Working are planned, delivered successfully and Embedded.
Define and develop the talent profile of the respective functions with a focus on skills/capability development and leadership.
Use contemporary HR practices to develop project people plans to support Transformation and change, with a focus on effectiveness and efficiency.
Work effectively and collaboratively with other HR Partner colleagues to deliver the national functional agendas/projects via the local HR and management teams.
Lead and or contribute to UK wide HR activity/projects including effectively influencing project deliverables so they meet UK needs and requirements.
This is UK based and can be situated in either London, Midlands or in the north of England with regular travel to the local office required, hybrid 2 days a week in the office and 3 from home.
