REESON Education are working in close partnership with a rapidly improving North London Barnet Primary School.
The school are recruiting for a KS2 Class Teacher to join their growing team on a permanent contract basis commencing in September. This KS2 Class Teacher position is available to both experienced educators as well as NQT’s.
The school has recently joined a successful federation and is looking to recruit Teachers who are wanting to invest and go on a journey of improvement alongside the school. The most recent OFSTED report highlighted key changes that needed to be made within school and the new Leadership team are ensuring that these changes are made quickly and effectively.
The school offers a great work/life balance as well as lots of autonomy within the role. Support will be offered to NQT’s however the role would suit a Teacher who favours working independently and is confident in their ability to drove pupil progress at KS2.
The school is building an all new on-site facility to support their ‘Indoor/Outdoor’ learning philosophy in the New Year, as well as transitioning into becoming a full Forest School. The Headteacher is looking for a KS2 Class Teacher who believes that pupils benefit from Outdoor Learning and who will be able to create engaging and informative lessons that utilise the school’s facilities and grounds.
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that challenge pupils of varying abilities including those with SEND and English as a Second Language. As such, a good knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum will be essential alongside a proven track record of success raising attainment within KS2. NQT’s with ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ placement experience within KS2 will be also be considered.
