Our client, an exciting new start up within e-mobility, is looking for a Lead Mechanical Technician and Trainer who will be a key member of their team.
This opportunity is 3 days per week initially, with the potential to become a full time position as the company grows. Due to the nature of the role, this candidate can be based anywhere in the UK.
The purpose of the Lead Mechanic will be to train, mentor and manage e-mobility mechanics at various UK sites (Including London, South East, Birmingham, South West and Gloucestershire), both remotely and in person. The successful candidate will also have the responsibility to source, order and track parts and materials, whilst improving processes and procedures in order to maximise efficiency. You will need to build a structure that ensures the e-bikes and e-scooters are functional and safe to use across the business including the creation of trackable methods, whilst delivering excellent results.
Key Responsibilities: -Set up local warehouse structures -Order and track materials -Ensure e-bikes and e-scooters are serviced, repaired, cleaned and safe for public hire -Communicate with suppliers -Assist with hiring members of the team
Who you are: -Flexible and willing to travel -A natural leader -IT literate -Able to own projects and drive operations forward -You have previous e-bike or e-scooter experience
Travel to sites will be required, with travel and accommodation costs covered.
