This school is looking for a Teaching assistant with experience working 1:1 with students with ASD to join their welcoming team in September 2020 – July 2021 with the potential of joining permanently.

You would be working alongside a young boy in Year 1 who has ASD. For this particular role you will have to be patient, understanding. You must have previous experience with children with ASD and understand that each day may be a challenge, however very rewarding as well. The boy is kind and gentle, he just needs an outstanding role model to help him stay on track.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
