Management Accountant is required to perform many varied tasks both accurately and in a timely manner. The following responsibilities cover various specific deliverables of day to day, month end, reporting and budget tasks that will need to be performed. This list is not exhaustive and additional projects or tasks may be requested by mutual agreement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare FMC Audit monthly files to ensure compliance with FMC Controls.
Assist on Internal, FMC and External Audits as required.
Operate in accordance with Publicis Groupe policies and processes as detailed in Janus.
Assist with the completion of month end reporting: – Preparation of month end files for review – Review of expenses and completing monthly accruals (Staffing & Overheads) – Review/complete prepayments schedule
Completion of month end reporting necessary for submission to Head Office.
Review month end Balance Sheet Reconciliations and follow up with Re:Sources on discrepancies
Ensure house invoices are allocated as per budgets and discrepancies queried in conjunction with AP team.
Input into preparation of Annual Commit and Reforecasts Submissions throughout the year.
Upload of Commit & Reforecast P&Ls to Groupe via HFM.
Manage Freelancer cost tracking and reporting.
Review and control of expenses and oversight of monthly accruals.
Managing Intercompany recharges for staff & overhead costs
Assist Finance and HR with annual Corporate Social Responsibility preparation.
Maintenance of SAP; regular review of vendors, clients & employees.
Liaise with Re:Sources (AP, AR, GL) when necessary and maintain a healthy working relationship
Completion of month end Management Packs to provide details on performance and financial status of the Agency.
Ad hoc Reporting as required by Management to improve profitability of Company.
Work with management on improving internal efficiencies, and optimising operating processes.
