Our Time is the only UK charity that specifically addresses the needs of children who have a parent with a mental illness. We’ve seen the need for our work increase over the past few years, and so we are looking to broaden the team to support with this growth. We’re looking for a part-time Office Manager to come and join our team at this exciting time!
You will have experience as an Executive Assistant to a Director or Chief Executive. You will need to be proactive, organised and able to use your initiative. We are a small team, so you will need to be flexible, using a wide range of skills and experience. This is a key role, and we are looking for someone who combines a businesslike approach with an interest in social issues.
Our Time supports and champions young people affected by parental mental illness.
We’ve established monthly KidsTime Workshops throughout the UK and Europe. They’re safe spaces where young people are free to talk about their concerns, have fun and foster positive relationships with their families.
We have an educational programme ‘ Who Cares?’ which is training and resources for primary schools, secondary schools and colleges staff to identify young people affected by parental mental illness.
We’re also campaigning to secure greater recognition, understanding and help for these children and young people by engaging, supporting and championing their needs at local and national level.
