Our client, a highly successful shipbrokers, is seeking a confident and organised Part- time Team Secretary to support their team on a part – time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join this busy shipbroker firm 3 days each week, supporting a department of Brokers.
This Part-time Team Secretary position is based in the City of London, with some flexibility to work from home. It is a 9-month contract and you must be available to start ASAP.
The main responsibilities for this reliable and efficient Part – time Team Secretary are: *Providing support to 10 brokers within the S&P team, who manage the sale and purchase of ships *Proofreading, preparing and formatting documents *Preparing invoices, bills, commission slips and expenses *Assisting with the production of quotes and valuation certificates *Combining text, graphs, exchange rates and other data into a weekly Publisher report *Use of the company’s in-house system (full training will be provided) *On a quarterly basis, managing fleer requests for in excess of 100 vessels *Manging annual leave calendar *Booking restaurants and accommodation when needed
We are looking for Part-time Team Secretaries who have: *Previous secretarial experience, supporting a busy team – Shipping industry would be beneficial *A proven track record of working with databases and invoicing *Advanced MS Office skills – including Excel and Publisher *The ability to work with strong attention to detail, grammar and spelling *The ability to communicate effectively at all levels *The ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload
