FamilyFutures is an adoption and adoption support agency awarded an outstandingrating by OFSTED in 2018 for our third consecutive inspection. We have areputation for innovation and offering a high quality service – an integratedmulti-disciplinary assessment, treatment and family finding service fortraumatised adopted and fostered children.
We are looking to recruit a Permanency Service Team Leader who will be responsible for continuing to develop and support our Adoption Service, i-Adopt and for developing our exciting new, therapeutic fostering service, We-Foster. We are looking for an energetic experienced manager with a background in permanency services who could take over, in a phased transition, the management of our permanency service. Ideally applicants would have experience of both fostering and adoption. However, as Family Futures has long term experience in adoption it is more essential that the Permanency Team Leader brings experience and knowledge of fostering and is willing to build their knowledge and experience of adoption.
This role will be an exciting and challenging position working closely in collaboration with the Permanency Services Manager and managing a small team of social workers. Based on our NPP model, We-Foster will provide a service that is child-centred and develops the skills of foster carers to therapeutically support the needs of the children placed in their care.

Expressions of Interest – Clinical Psychologist
Family Futures is a Community Interest Company, an adoption support agency, and is regarded as a national centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment. We have developed and evaluated a holistic treatment model for developmentally traumatised children and their families, Neuro-physiological Psychotherapy (NPP), which takes a multi-disciplinary and neuro-sequential approach to intervention. The assessment and treatment service work with adoptive, foster and special-guardian and at-risk families, to provide treatment that combines the latest developments in research, theory and practice. We have been awarded an Outstanding rating by OFSTED in 2018 for our third consecutive inspection.
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist at ‘Senior’ level, which requires two years’ experience of work in a related field. The candidate will have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team with traumatised children who are fostered, adopted or in special guardianship placements. The key role of the psychologist in the team would be to conduct assessments and therapeutic interventions with families affected by developmental trauma. Providing consultation and training and participating in research projects are also likely to be aspects of the role.
