We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Practice Nurse to supplement our forward thinking and focused Clinical team. You will working as part of General Practice team helping to deliver the following
• Cervical Screening, • Contraception and sexual health screening • Childhood Immunisations and • Travel Advice/Immunisations • Long term disease review/ Management Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Hypertension • Respiratory Testing(peakflow,mrc scale, spirometry) • Basic treatment room duties (such as wound care) • Supporting Health care assistant and Phlebotomist.
You will be working closely with members of the clinical team comprising of :
· Lead GPs and regular clinical meetings · 4 Paramedics across the group · Lead Practice Nurse · Healthcare assistants · Phlebotomists · Clinical Pharmacists · Mental Health Nurses
The ideal candidate will be confident, compassionate and proactive. It is anticipated that they will take part in clinical supervision, attend practice meetings and Nurse forums and keep abreast of changes and developments within their clinical field as part of your continuing professional development. Manage the administrative duties involved with the role and contribute towards the achievement of patient and practice clinical targets.

The ideal candidate should have · 1 year experience post qualification. · Be able to work independently and perform home visits · Have excellent clinical and time management skills · Be able to demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process
