The primary purpose of this role is to work with the account teams in being accountable for meeting the business objectives of our clients both strategically and financially. As well as using experience to develop innovative tactical and strategic plans that are well aligned to client needs.

Product Task/Leadership & Accountability
•Enable a team to provide flawless execution of multiple simultaneous projects
•Provide high level scientific advice and guidance across all account teams
•Personally handles multiple, complex projects
•Responsible for high quality outputs from team and self
•Responsible for budget management through understanding of project specification and allocated hours
•Responsible for accurate input of all hours worked onto timesheets on a daily basis for self and teams
•Has detailed knowledge of at least two therapy areas, knowledge that extends beyond the specific product they work on
•Act as a key part of business development initiatives, both organic and de novo
•Has an emerging point of view on the role of medical communications agencies and the healthcare industry
•Use experience to develop innovative tactical and strategic plans that are well aligned to client needs
•Provide regular input to general management of their accounts, including financial and long-term planning
•Has an excellent track record of good decision making that is evidence-based and involved relevant individuals
•Set a visible example for professionalism and work ethic
•Is anambassador for the company internally and externally
•Is competent to act as a sounding board to others, advising on non-technical issues
•Show evidence of helping others to succeed through successful mentoring/performance management
•Show pro-actively advises on appropriate succession planning for their team(s)
•Show evidence of being a successful influencer, altering approach to match individuals/situations and getting the desired outcome without unnecessary antagonism

* Degree Educated
* Strong communications skills, especially in written form
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and good proof reading skills
* Solution focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations were appropriate
* Outstanding ability to write at a level appropriate to the target audience
* Demonstrates thorough research & understanding of the therapeutic area & scientific/market environment
* Wide experience of various therapy areas
* Ability to distil complex data into comprehensive messages
* Develop and deliver scientifically high quality content
* Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development and approval process
* Ability to use PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
