We are looking for a creative and experienced individual to join us as a Producer. Our team makes creative, inventive and inspiring films and still images to communicate the mission and vision of The Salvation Army in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
We are looking for a natural storyteller, who has a track record in making stand out content that can influence opinion. We need you to be able to work collaboratively on a wide range of concepts, taking them through to delivery on a variety of delivery platforms, to engage, inform and inspire.
You’ll be familiar with the kit needed to make films and you’ll have hands-on camera or sound recording skills. You’ll be working mostly in a small team but comfortable working on you own or as part of a larger team.
Our output includes documentaries, music videos, animations, as well as live multi-camera productions. We produce adverts for Television, Facebook advertising and films for Instagram and Youtube and the Salvation Army’s national website and internal communications.
The Video Production Unit sits within the Fundraising and Marketing department and makes over 100 films a year, used at all levels of the organisation. The Unit’s films have twice been shortlisted for the Charity Film Awards, winning silver in 2019.
Applicants must be able to drive a manual car and have a full driver licence.
This is a permanent position based at our Headquarters currently at 101 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6BN. In 2022 we will be moving to Denmark Hill, London, SE5 8BQ. This exciting new building will provide a more effective workplace to help The Salvation Army better achieve its mission.
