Production Accountant Permanent

Do you have prior experience working as a Production Accountant? Are you looking to continue working within Media industry? Looking for an accounting role that offers exposure to working across different productions and taking ownership of these labels.

As a result of continued success and growth across the business, we are currently working in partnership to recruit Production Accountant to join their impressive finance function based in Central London.

The position of Production Accountant has the accountability for managing and reporting on a roster of productions. The ideal candidate will be working alongside both the finance team as well as the production team, you will work in a small team of other Production Accountants. You will be help manage several labels across the groups, working across different formats within these productions.

Other key responsibilities:

• Assisting the production teams with setting up and operating the Purchasing Managers Index

• Gathering and keeping up to date production finance information (e.g., Production budget, cash-flows, edit schedules, cost reports) through appropriate file sharing or PMI.

• Preparing weekly Cash flows as accurately as possible for different productions.

• Taking responsibility for periodic full financial closure of completed allocated productions

• Alerting PFMs of any potential risks and or concerns on specific allocated productions.

• Managing several production projects concurrently

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Production Accountant or a considerable amount of experience as an Assistant Production Accountant. As well as this the ideal candidate will have had cost manager exposure.
