FM Conway is currently searching for a professional Project Manager – Structural/Civil Engineering to lead our prestigious Illuminated River project which is based in central London. This is a full-time position and we are open to both permanent or contractor applicants or those who may be looking at a contract to permanent opportunity.
Due to the current COVID – 19 situation, this role will be remotely based and requires working from home with site visits until further notice. Future reporting office will be based at our Mandela Way, London SE1 5SZ.

The Project Manager – Structural/Civil Engineering Role:
As our Project Manager – Structural/Civil Engineering you will take responsibility for the second phase of the Illuminated River project, which includes installing lighting artwork on four bridges including London, Southwark, Cannon Street Railway and Millennium Bridges.
Responsibilities of our Project Manager – Structural/Civil Engineering:
Ensure project delivery.
Liaise with Project Managers and Supervisors in other divisions of FM Conway on schedule of works.
Liaise and deal with senior stakeholders.
Reviewing all worked carried out on Structures and addressing issues/additional works raised by the client.
Ensure that all works are executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner and any issues are reported back to the Structures Director.
Act in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with reference to our equality and diversity policies, procedures and practices.
Act in accordance with the company’s health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and practices.
What we’re looking for in our Project Manager – Structural/Civil Engineering
We are searching for an qualified project manager who has a previous background working with structural engineering or civil engineering type works. The successful individual must hold the ability to plan, coordinate and allocate resource, prepare risk assessments, method statements whilst ensuring health and safety regulations are being adhered to. Previous experience with senior project stakeholders will be essential as will strong relationship building/communication skills. You will be self-motivated, organised and happy to work under minimal supervision.
