Role Description:
Managing hiring risk is a key requirement of the Global background check policies and this Regional Manager role has responsibility for the successful delivery of the end-to-end background checking process for the EMEA and LATAM regions.
The Regional Manager is the face of the background screening program and manages both our external background check vendor and an internal team of investigators to produce comprehensive and timely background check reports that are used to inform hiring decisions and assess potential borrowers and clients of the bank.

You will partner with multiple lines of business and divisional leads within Global Corporate Security, GIS, Human Resources, Technology Compliance & Ops Risk and Audit.
The role also includes working across organization to quickly vet and emerging issues/observations. Oversee Issue Management activities, including development of action plans for self/audit/compliance-identified.
The Team:
The role is Camberley based and manages an established team of 6 background check investigators across three locations, London, Camberley and Paris. You will also have direct day-to-day working relationships with Talent Acquisitions and Human Resources teams and hiring managers across all lines of business.
Core Skills:
The successful candidate will have to know the Bank of America Risk Framework and will have a good understanding of the concepts of risk & controls.
