The RNI/ Clinical Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating quality continuation of care for a specific patient population. RN I/Clinical coordinators must demonstrate strong supervisory skills in overseeing day-to-day direction of the unit and resolving routine issues and problems. The RN I/Coordinators must demonstrate effective communication skills as well as the ability to multitask and delegate to achieve desired end results. Demonstrates proper performance of skills reflected and validated by the position’s orientation/skills checklist.

The word “patient” focuses on illness and disease states, while “healthcare consumer” encompasses a large group of consumers using the healthcare system. Must be graduated from an accredited school of nursing
Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or one of compact states.
