Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a moving and handling qualified Teaching Assistant to work with an SEN school in Sheffield from September 2020.
The role is flexible and on an ad hoc basis allowing the successful candidate to work around existing commitments and would be suitable for someone with part time availability.
The setting works with pupils up to the age of 18 with a range of learning difficulties from moderate Autism to those with profound learning difficulties.
The successful person must have a gentle and nurturing approach and previous experience working with children with additional needs is essential for this role as is a caring and nurturing nature and an in date Moving and Handling qualification. A Team Teach qualification would be beneficial but not essential for this role as training can be provided by the setting.
The school has secure on site parking for staff and is a warm and welcoming place to work.
Pay £65.00 – 80.00 per day dependant on experience.

Hold a Moving and Handling qualification.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
