Senior Product Marketing Manager – London – Competitive Salary
Finitas is working on a search for an exception Senior Product Marketing Manager. Our client is the world’s leading provider of customer experience and research technology. They work together with clients to help them discover, understand, and share smart insights packed with real action potential.
In this newly created position, you will be responsible for showcasing the value of their Voice of the Customer/Employee (VoC/E) products, driving go-to-market plans while taking ownership of product positioning, messaging, packaging, and pricing.
You will report to the VP of Marketing based in London, with Matrix reporting to the Head of Product, based in NYC.
Responsibilities * Go to market planning – Develop marketing plans, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and acquisition of new ones * Market intelligence – be the expert on buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria * Product positioning – Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to develop product positioning and messaging for target buyer personas * Product pricing – Drive product pricing strategies, pricing research and organizational recommendations, policies, and provide sales support * Sales enablement – Train Sales on the problems faced by buyers and users for each market segment and how to solve them; develop internal tools (demos, playbooks, positioning statements, presentations) and external collateral * Buyer journey – Understand and document the buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the Who, What, When and Why behind the decisions they make, use this to drive changes to the sales and marketing processes * Competitor analysis – be an expert on the competition and how they are positioned * ROI – Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes * Product launches – Plan and execute the launch of new or updated products * Thought Leadership – Assist with the development of thought leadership and best-practice content that supports and sets the stage
Essential Skills and Experience: * 7+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years in technology * End-to-end development of core product messaging and positioning, collateral production and go-to-market plans and campaigns * Competitor research including pricing and market analysis * Contribution to production of top of funnel content including thought leadership * Engaging with, collaborating and educating commercial teams * Briefing and managing 3rd party agencies * Excellent stakeholder management skills across functions and time zones * Excellent presentation skills, comfortable in front of large, senior groups * Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Salesforce
Desired Skills and experience:
SAAS/Software marketing experience Experience in a Voice of the Customer software provider such as Qualtrics/Medallia or similar Copywriting – ability to apply quality writing skills across a variety of mediums on and offline
