Stock Condition Surveyor X2 (Housing) Location: Leicester, covering Midlands Salary: £30,960 per annum Fixed contract until 31st March 2021 Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm Ref: V3191 Our client is an award winning provider of affordable, quality homes, but their business is about more than property – it’s about people. They currently have an opportunity for two Stock Condition Surveyors to join their dedicated Midlands team. The primary focus for this role is to carry out site surveys/ inspections and to collect accurate stock condition survey data using a hand-held PDA or tablet device and office-based computer systems. The role will report back to the repairs and assets teams all health and safety, non-compliant or urgent works that is required to be acted upon; as well as liaising with their neighbourhood officers, residents and contractors where required. If you are educated to A-level standard, NVQ Level 4 or the ability to demonstrate suitable experience to meet the requirements of this role;
Have knowledge of building construction and components
Have experience of building diagnosis and defects identification.
Have previous residential asset management/surveying experience.
Have experience of dealing with people and excellent customer service skills;
Possess excellent communication and organisation skills
