Performs clerical duties for the Unit and acts as receptionist to patients and visitors arriving in the department. Utilizes computer to update pertinent patient information. Performs Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) as appropriate for the Unit and as qualified.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent is preferred.
License/Certifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Maine) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (New Hampshire) Certification desired. BCLS certification, MOAB annually as directed by department.
Experience: Medical secretarial background and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
