Surveyors are front line staff visiting customers at their premises to provide surveys/ quotations, advice and assistance.• The role is to ensure that high levels of• service are delivered to customers in a cost effective manner, thereby ensuring that accurate and timely quotations are delivered to customers within the guaranteed standards timescales.
To provide excellent customer service by exceeding expectations in terms of quality of service and information provided.
Nature and Scope:
Small Services, is positioned within Networks operations, and is managed by the Director of Network Operations.• A surveyor reports directly to the Connection Services Team Leader, who reports to the Connection Services Manager who reports to the Head of Connection Services, Highway Services & Disconnections•
As a Surveyor the job holder should be fully aligned and wholly comfortable with group culture, Company ambitions and values.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the points listed below.
• e.g. 1 Linesperson, 100m ABC etc.
As part of this role you may be required to undertake shifted work pattern, with evening and weekend work.
The successful applicant should also hold a full UK clean driving licence.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Managers and supervisors carry both legal and company responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of their employees, those under their control and those who might be affected by the work undertaken, i.e. public, visitors and employees of other organisations. Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used.
