Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Junior Sales Engineer – Technical Engineer to work for major power technology company covering the Central London region. This role would suit a recent graduate with 2/3 years commercial working experience with knowledge within the technical/electrical power generation sector a bonus. This role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to represent an international brand in the UK.
Working remotely covering the central London rail line, (M25 Corridor) the successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and focused on using their skills, industry experience to create new business. This will suit someone interested in working with datacentre and uninterrupted power supply.
To cover London area supporting a variety of IT customers
Developing business growth within Existing Customers and opportunities to Targeted Customers,
Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline
Work with Suppliers to develop and support business opportunities
Produce a monthly report that shares relevant information on new target opportunities, Market & Competitor information.
Lead and work with sales team in the production of their annual Budget
Work with the sales, tendering and finance teams and any other parts of the business to produce the required information
Assist in preparing an annual business plan.
Work to create specific marketing campaigns, aimed at raising the brand awareness of the business
Proven sales track record in a business to business environment
Experience working with strategic sales process and pipeline management
Good working knowledge with Microsoft office suite
Practical experience and theoretical knowledge of Electro Mechanical application
Operating within a manufacturing / engineering environment
Skills & Knowledge:
To be successful you will need to be commercially aware, target driven and used to working under pressure and to tight timescales
You will need to well organized/driven and have strong numerical and analytical skills.
Must have the ability to be adaptable and to sell technically based solutions and services.
Must have the ability to communicate using different mediums with and to sell to all appropriate levels within the market up to and including Director level.
Highly organised with strong analytical and Planning skills and attention to detail
Good Verbal, Written & Computer Skills.
Regular travel requirements to operate the functions of this role
Effective management of workload focusing on priorities and deliverables
Business or Engineering Degree/HND or equivalent experience.
Good standard of secondary education
Clean Driving License
